Book Cover Illustrations
I love books, and I’ve been reading fantasy and fiction since I was a child. So creating book covers feels natural to me. I enjoy turning a story into a single powerful image that captures emotion, atmosphere, and a sense of intrigue.
One of the covers in this collection is based on “Romancing Mister Bridgerton”. I painted it simply because I genuinely love the series, and I’m a fan of the actress who plays Penelope. I wanted to capture her charm, warmth, and transformation, and translate that feeling into a romantic, character-focused cover.
For this cover, I had a clear vision of the color palette from the start. I wanted a romantic, gentle atmosphere, so I chose deep violets, soft greens, and warm light. The main question during the process was the color of the flowers in the background. I tested several options, but stronger or brighter colors were stealing attention from the main characters. So I decided to keep the flowers white.
I focus on cinematic light, expressive characters, and storytelling through composition. I want each cover to feel like a doorway into another world.
